About Amber

Amber string of beads (kompoloi) that's my life.

My joys and miseries some and go

Beads hiding centuries inside

as if a clock for summers and winters

perhaps made the grieves sweetened,

witches have blessed it for some nights

Pinetrees full of tears glancing the sun

looking for a human being as a friend

Invisible rails for the yard of Paradise

Ancient traits never put out.
